Hello everyone,
I have 4 days left of school then I have 2 days off and I start at McMillen pool. This year I am a head lifeguard at the pool as well as running the swim team there. I am going to have to learn how to do all of the chemicals and everything and there will be days that I get to be the manager. I am also in charge of Lifetime Sports Academy (LSA) along with one of the other head guards. In the mornings I will be teaching swim lessons. I am looking forward to my summer. I will be working a lot but it should be a good summer.
Aaron has an interview today so we are praying that it goes well. He is still working at the YMCA. He has lots of Army things to do over the summer. He has the chance to go to air assult school. There is also a two week span of time that he has to go out and do training.
I am applying for some secretary jobs at the school. I am ok if I do not get it because I like the school I am currently working at. I have made lots of friends and everything there. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Buying a house
Hello everyone,
Aaron and I are in the process of buying a new house. We have signed the papers and the buyer has as well. We signed them in time to get the tax credit which is awesome! Praise the Lord for that! The house is about four streets over from where we are right now. We are actually going to be right across the street from some of our friends which is really nice. The house inspection is going to be on Wed so if you could please pray that it goes well that would be great. Please also pray that we could get a gas stove before the end of the month. This summer I am going to be working at the pool again and Aaron will be doing Army stuff as well as working at the Y and with the landscaping company. Please also be praying that we can save up enough $ for our down payment before the end of the month. We need a little over $2,000 for the down payment. Thank you all for your prayers and support.

April
Hello I just wanted to give everyone an update on what Aaron and I have been doing recently. Aaron really enjoyed his convoy security mission that he went on. He is still trying to find a job that is a bit more full time. Please be praying about that.
I am still working at Northcrest Elementry school, but I am no longer working with William. Some issues arose and he is not attending Northcrest anymore. I am currently working in the ED classroom. Over the summer I plan to lifeguard at McMillen the pool I guarded at last summer. We are also hoping to take a trip to Canada this summer. I am not sure when but we are looking forward to that.
We are still in search of a house and are going to look at a few on Monday. We found one that we really liked but God has other plans for us. We are also attending a new church called Grace Gathering and going to a house church there. The house church is based on reaching out to youth. Every 3rd Friday we go to Powerhouse which is a hangout place for teens. We go and try to build relationships not just be the people volunteering there. So far we are really enjoying it.
I am still coaching swim team and there has been a change in some of the staff and I think that next year is going to be much better than this one. I am excited about it. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Convoy Security School
Hello again. I wanted to tell you all that Aaron got the news yesterday. He is going to be going to a convoy security school in March. He will be gone from March 7-20 and he gets paid for that time. We are very blessed that he has gotten this opportunity. Please pray that he will be safe at the school and will be able to call me every once in a while. Thank you all for your prayers and support.

The Past few Months
Hello everyone,
It has been a while. Here are some things that have been going on. I started working at the Fort Wayne Community Schools as a classified substitute (an assistant). I am working with a 4th grade boy who is autistic and has behavior problems. I have been doing this since October and I got hired on full time Feb. 18th. I praise the Lord for getting this full time job. It is such a blessing especially in our economy. I am also coaching the Central Branch YMCA Sharks swim team. We have been having a good season so far. Our season is almost over. We have the State swim meet the second weekend in March. After the season I am going to go back to lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons.
Aaron just got promoted in the Army as well he is now a Private First Class (PFC). He will be going to a convoy training school in a couple of weeks which we are both excited about. He will get paid for the two weeks and also be able to do something that he really enjoys. Aaron is currently working at the YMCA where I also work but he does not like it very much. Anyone who knows Aaron knows that a desk job is not his thing so he is really looking for another job. He also works for a snow removal company. The problem with that job is that it has only snowed 4 times this winter enough for him to have anything to shovel. But we do thank God for the jobs that he has provided for us and pray that he would continue to provide in the coming months and we know that he will.
God has really worked in our lives in the few months and it has been amazing. I have the opportunity to go to Mali West Africa with my church back home in Marion, Ohio. I am not sure if I am able to go yet.
We are still in the process of buying a house. We found one that we really liked and was in our price range and then someone else bought it, fixed it up and now is selling it for about 80,000 more than what we were going to pay for it. We are a bit disappointed because it was a really nice house but we are confident that God will bring the house he wants us to have our way. Or us it's way I guess! We could use some prayer in upcoming decisions we have to make. I cannot say what they are right now we just need some prayer to make wise decisions. Thank you and we love you all!
