Hello Everyone,
So sorry it has been so long since we have posted anything. Aaron is back from basic training and I am very happy that he is back. We are looking to buy a house in the target area. We found one that we really like and we are trying to get preapproved for a mortgage. Please be praying about this we would really like to buy this house and stop renting. I am currently working as a lifeguard, swim instructor and swim team coach of the YMCA. I am also trying to get a job with the Fort WAyne Community Schools. Please be praying for us with all of these decisions. Thank you all for your prayers and support.

Aaron's family weekend
Hello Everyone,
Thank you for praying for Aaron's back it is much better now. It is not completly healed but he is able to do the things he needs to with minimal pain. Now I have another prayer request. Aaron's company had a 2 hour pass to go to the PX and get their hair cut and call people but I guess that most of the company came back late. Aaron and 12 other guys were the only ones to come back on time. So they lost all phone privleges as well as all passes. Aaron did not know if that meant family weekend or not. He is going to write me today hopefully to tell me. Please just be praying that he can have that pass because I really really really want to see him. Also my plane ticket is non refundable I think.

Hello everyone,
Please be praying for Aaron!!!! He is very home sick and he has hurt his back pretty bad. I guess a disk has moved and he has been out this whole week. He is hoping that this does not mess up his chances to be squad leader but he does not know. Pleas keep him in your prayers! Thank you.

basic traning
Hello All,
Aaron is officially done with one month of training today. He is doing very well and is one of the best soldiers in his platoon. Please continue to pray for him because he would like to graduate with honors and that is very difficult to do. His graduation date is August 14. I will be going down to see him July 9-12 for family weekend. I am very excited about that. I am assistant coaching the country club swim team this summer as well as guarding at McMillen. Thank you all for your prayers and support.

Aaron's address at basic training!
Hello Everyone,
I finally have Aaron’s address at basic training. You have to write it exactly how it is here do not change anything.

Then on the back of the envelope you need to write 4th Platoon or 4th in big letters. Also Aaron asked me to tell people that he would really like ONLY letters he does not want any packages. And please do not send him food either. Please only send him letters! He has been asking me to pray for his back and also for his upper body strength so if you could remember that in your prayers as well that would be great. Also please pray that he would get a good battle buddy that is not one of the people always getting everyone in trouble. I probably will not be able to talk to him for a while since he is down range now. Oh and when Aaron writes back to anyone he is going to send the letter to me and then I will email it or facebook or whatever to whoever he sent it to. We are trying to save some money on stamps. Thank you all for your prayers and support!

Basic Training
Hello Everyone,
As most of you probably already know Aaron left for basic training on April 27th. I got a chance to talk to him when he was in Indianapolis and then again when he was in St. Louis. He flew from MEPS in Indy to St. Louis then to Atlanta and then was going to take a bus to Fort Benning. I have not heard from him yet to tell everyone what his address is. He wanted me to tell everyone if you are going to send him something please just send him a card or a letter do not send any packages. He will be in Georgia for 4 months or until his training is done. I am doing pretty good even though i am by myself. I will be starting a new job in the middle of May. I will be working at the outdoor pools as a lifeguard and a swim team coach. I am really looking forward to this. Things are going pretty well here. Thank you all for your prayers and support.

Update on our life
Hello Everyone,
In the last month in a half we have moved into a new house and gotten settled for the most part. Aaron began a new job but it is working at night so we do not get to see each other a whole lot. I am still working as a lifeguard at the YMCA and a swim instructor. I am also looking to work at an outdoor pool over the summer. We are tying to prepare for Aaron leaving for basic training at the end of the month. (April 27th)We are also trying to purchase a car. Please be praying for us we are both a bit discouraged right now as funds are short and we do not get to see each other much. Also once Aaron leaves we will not see each other for 4 months and the only communication we will have is letters. THank you all for your support. We really appreciate it.

House
Hello again, we are now moved into our house and in the process of unpacking and settling in. Aaron has a job for this weekend please keep praying that he gets something more permanent. I still have my lifeguarding job but we are losing some hours so I am looking for another job. Please also pray about that. We still have not found out when Aaron is leaving for basic training. There is a car for sale that we would like to buy but the guy selling it needs to find another car before he sells this one. Please continue to pray for our ministry as well as us. The move
hello everyone
We are going to be moving into our new house sometime this week. Probably on Wednesday. Please pray that no one who is helping gets hurt while moving. And that nothing will get broken. Hello everyone,
We have been looking at houses the last few weeks and we found one that we want to buy. The man that owns it is really helping us out. He is going to let us rent it until we can buy it. Which is great. We are hoping to move by the end of next week. Please be praying that we have the money to cover rent for the first month because Aaron still has not been able to find a job. Please also be praying that we are approved for a mortgage because then we can buy the house sooner. Also if you could be praying tomorrow we are going to look at a car. Our friend said it was in really good condition and the guy only wants $900.00 for it. We are also praying that we have enough money to pay for everything we need to in the next week to week in a half. Thank you all for your prayers and support.

January Overview
So there has been tons of stuff going on here in the last month. There are not very many jobs available here so that makes it tough to get one. I was able to get a lifeguarding/ swim instructor job at the downtown YMCA. It is only about 8 min. from our house. Aaron has joined the National Guard reserve. He will probably be leaving for basic training in the middle of February. He will then be gone for 3 1/2 months. We will not be able to talk on the phone except maybe once every 2 weeks or when his drill sergent thinks it is necessary. I am not really looking forward to that but we are allowed to write to each other everyday.
We are still looking for a car. Our friends are letting us borrow their van right now which is a huge blessing. Along with looking for a car we are also looking for a house because we found out that we have to be out of our apartment by May 1. If you could all be praying about this that would be great. The mortgage company is saying that they may not give us a mortgage because they do not count Aaron's work history in Canada. I know that God is bigger than all of this and He has a plan for us.
Our team has a ministry this weekend all of the guys are going to the juvinile detention center to spend some time with the guys there and also watch the Superbowl with them. The ladies are going to make snacks and goodies for them to take. Please pray that the boys hearts will be opened to what God has for them on Sunday night. Please also be praying that Aaron and I would be able to prepare to be apart for 3 and a half months. I am not really sure you can prepare for that but anyway. Thank you all for your prayers.
