Trip Route
Aaron and I finally decided what route we will be taking when driving to Fort Wayne. We just wanted to let everyone know so you would know which day we were crossing the border as well as other states. We will be leaving Crossfield around 6:00 am on Monday the 15th and driving straight down to the Alberta/ Montana border. They told us to expect to be there for a while so we will probably be spending the night in Montana. But we are praying that we make it into North Dakota in the first day of driving. Our last night of youth was tonight and it was very nice. It was a Christmas party and we played games and had refreshments. Thank you to all of our youth for a wonderful last night. Praise God that they did find a replacement for Aaron. We are very thankful for that. This Friday we will be saying goodbye to the rest of our friends and then on Sunday Aaron's family. For any of you that would like to follow our trip my mom will be posting updates in the comment section. So just click on comments and you will be able to see how far we got or whatever happened that day. Thank you all for your prayers. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Hello,
I called the border port at Sweet Grass, Montana. They were very positive about things going smoothly crossing the border.
The port is open 24/7, but they said things would go more quickly if you arrive before 4:00 pm.
They said you would not have to pay taxes/duties on any of your household or personal items (clothes, etc.) that are over a year old. All you have to do is write an inventory of all the items on the truck, listing each of the big items individually, then by numbering the boxes and stating a general description of the contents of each box (Misc. kitchen utensils, etc.).
I was encouraged that it may go better than expected.
Love you! OXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX
